So, why did I choose the title Anderson Anecdotes for our new blog? The word "Anderson" is a given - duh! But, the word "Anecdote" has a lot of meanings. An "Anecdote" is a short account of a particular incident or event, especially of an interesting or amusing nature. Hello! That's exactly what this blog is! Plus, as an English major I love, love, love words, and isn't Anecdote a cool word? Not to mention that the title Anderson Anecdotes is an example of Alliteration. Two literary terms in one! - Could life get any better? :)
